Following the success of his debut album, The Documentary, which won two Grammy nominations and his second album which debuted at number one, one of Hip Hops biggest stars, The Game, returns to the music scene this summer with his third album “L.A.X”
The album features production credits from: Kanye West, JR Rotem, Scott Storch, Jellyroll, 1500, Hi Tek. Plus Cool and Dre, - who produced The Game’s smash-hit single ‘Hate It or Love It’ which reached #4 in the UK singles chart.
The Game describes his new album as
highly controversial” and “addressing real issues that other artists might be scared to talk about on record; issues that need to be heard”.
Along with the aforementioned hit producers, the album features guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Keyshia Cole, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, Common, Bilal and Ice Cube.
The Game is one of hip hop’s most successful artists and is the driving force in bringing back the West Coast Hip-Hop scene. He is the only West Coast solo artists to release a multi-platinum album (The Documentary) since Dr Dre’s 1999 album in 2001. With two No.1 US albums (‘The Documentary’ and ‘Doctor’s Advocate’) under his belt and ½ million sales in the UK The Game announced that his third album, L.A.X., would be his last, explaining that three albums will be enough to have allowed him to "get his point across".
