THE UNIVERSITY OF HULL
The University of Hull - Students Teaching rewards you in more ways than one

Are you enthusiastic about education? Then we’re enthusiastic about you! We are looking for people with the personal qualities and motivation to inspire others.

Our one-year PGCE programmes are rated by Ofsted as ‘Outstanding’ (Primary PGCE) and ‘Good’ (Secondary PGCE) and particular strengths are identified as:

  • The support offered to meet the individual needs of trainees.
  • The quality of the tutors.
  • The strong partnerships with local schools which help a high percentage of trainees completing our programmes successfully to gain employment.

Tax-free bursaries are available of £4,000 (Primary PGCE) and between£6,000 and £9,000 (Secondary PGCE).

We also offer £225 tax-free per week for a Mathematics Enhancement Course running from January to June and the same for a Modern Languages Extension Course running from May to September for graduates with a degree in Modern Languages.
